day five: back to the magic (kingdom)

Wednesday morning we headed straight to Cinderella's Castle. The kids were excited to be heading back to Magic Kingdom, and even more excited that they were getting to go inside the castle.

When we entered, Cinderella was waiting to greet her guests...

Then, as we ate our breakfast the rest of the princesses that she had invited came by to say hello...

Lila was sooooo happy to finally meet Ariel. Bennett was so over princesses at this point. Plus, they gave him a sword when we sat down (the girls received wands) and so that was keeping him very happy!

And they loved seeing Belle in her different dress...

The breakfast was great, although our time was much more rushed than it had been at the Akerhaus Castle...the princesses really only said hello and moved on to the next table...luckily the girls didn't seem to notice!

After that we had early entry into the park and so we were able to ride a few rides before the crowds arrived. The kids all loved Snow White and Peter Pan's Adventure..

Then we ran into Lady Tremaine and the wicked step sisters...

...who were hilarious...

...and Mary Poppins!

Then we all went on the Buzz Lightyear ride...needless to say this was a HUGE hit (not only for Bennett-the girls loved it too), and the first of many times we would ride this ride.

Then it was time for the girls' special surprise. We headed back to the castle and were thrilled to run into Cinderella's Fairy Godmother on the way.

The reason we headed back to the castle is because the girls had appointments at the:

...and were going to be pampered and treated like princesses!

They goofed around a bit before their appointments...

It was Lila's turn first. I hope she would love this, but was a little concerned because she is so tender-headed that she wouldn't like them combing her hair. But, she did great! She loved it!

Not only did they get their hair fixed into a princess bun, but they got their nails painted and a little bit of make-up applied.

Then they got to choose a crown. Lila chose pink!

Elise chose blue...

And it is finished off with some pixie dust!

Lila's paparazzi moment!

Before the girls are done they turn them away from the mirror, and then when they are all ready they spin them back around for a big "ta-dah" moment.

So cute.

Our pretty princess!

Elise getting her pixie dust...

And her paparazzi moment!

Fancy girls!

They had so much fun, and I had fun watching them. They definitely felt extra special, and had a great time!! I was also so proud that they were very grateful for the experience, and didn't seem to notice (or care) that some of the other girls were getting elaborate costumes, wands, crowns, shoes, etc...They just were thankful and felt very fabulous all day!
It was great at their ages, and from what they have told me, one of their favorite things about our trip!

While they were all dressed up they were thrilled to meet Tiana and Prince Naveen. Tiana was super sweet to them and she and Naveen entertained the kids with their banter. Bennett thought it was neat that the Prince was there, and loved showing him his sword.
After our great day at the park, we had another little surprise for the girls. Their friends Madeliene and MeMe were also in Disney and we were meeting them for dinner! We went back to the room for a little bit, and then when we headed to the Polynesian to meet them I totally forgot my camera!! So bummed. The kids were so happy to see each other and we had fun at dinner. It was MeMe's 4th birthday and so we sang Happy Birthday and had cake. Then Jen had booked a special surprise for the kids (and the adults)-- the kids were going to play at the Neverland Club (in the hotel) while we stayed and had a cocktail at the bar. Everyone is happy! The Neverland Club is a precious indoor supervised play area for kids. Looks like a play house inside, and they had tons of arts and crafts prepped for the kids to do, as well as toys, every dress-up imaginable, Disney movies, etc...kid's paradise!! The kids had such a blast and I literally had to drag Bennett kicking and screaming out of there when it was time to go!
Another day in the books....and in our memories!
